Function and principle of redundancy

A redundancy module acts as a smart switch between two power supplies.

It isolates each source to prevent current from flowing back from one power supply to the other, and ensures that the load remains powered even if one of the power supplies fails.

This dual power supply architecture ensures maximum security for critical systems, 24/7.

Key advantages:

Industrial automation and control systems

Redundant power supply systems for servers, PLCs, sensors

Critical applications (security, telecommunications, energy, transport, defense)

Solar or hybrid installations with continuous power supply

Medical or metrological equipment requiring permanent availability
